AC panels with CEI 0-21 interface protection device
Interface panels are designed in compliance with CEI 0-21 regulations. They perform an essential function of protection, isolation, and control at the connection point between the photovoltaic system and the public electricity distribution grid. Mandatory for systems with a capacity exceeding 11.08 kW, they ensure that energy is not fed into the grid under unsafe conditions, such as faults or system anomalies.
Each panel is equipped with:
- thermal-magnetic and residual current protection devices to ensure protection against overloads, short circuits, and earth faults;
- an interface protection system (SPI) that continuously monitors grid parameters and automatically disconnects the system from the public grid if limits are exceeded;
- automatic disconnection control ensuring the opening of the DDI and the main switch (DG), preventing any uncontrolled connection to the grid.
The panels can be installed both indoors and outdoors thanks to IP65-rated enclosures. Upon request, CEI 0-21 interface panels can be equipped with additional monitoring systems or designed with customized configurations based on specific application requirements.
